Hi, we went to Gautam India Palace for dinner today. The food was really good and the portions were plentiful. Despite Corona and the resulting reduced number of guests, the waiting time was extremely long. We were about to leave. In addition, the two terms were very superficial and apparently had no interest in new customers. We'll try again, maybe it was just an isolated incident.

Simply unbelievably delicious! Friendly service, reasonable prices. Definitely saved, especially because a visit to Lohr is always worthwhile and it wasn't the last time.

It was my first time to eat Indian, so I have no comparison with others. The food here is tasty, good service. The ambience could be a bit nicer, but all in all good 👍

yesterday we wanted to eat here. is available on the internet until 2.30pm. at the door is open until 2.30pm. yesterday was not a day of rest either, and when we arrived at 1.40 pm everything was closed. we feel fooled.

Very good cuisine, friendly service, we would love to come back.

Authentic indian food

I was at Gautam for the first time on Saturday and found it a little strange. At first it does not give the impression of being an Indian restaurant. It used to be a train station restaurant. They went out of their way to spice things up, but the old flair can still be seen. We then had a plate for two people. The food was really awesome and the service really nice. The cook is also a great guy and has the right attitude towards cooking. The price is reasonable - so everything is fine. If you could cover the wooden grids with Indian cloths, it could possibly bring something. Next time I will try the buffet. That looked good too and the price fits for that too.

We were probably there shortly after 11:30 a.m. Not only was the plate not preheated, the fried noodles were just lukewarm. The soup was well tempered. The other dishes had a good taste but not the desired temperature. Towards the end of our visit, the dishes finally had the desired temperature, and there was also a pleasant warmth in the dining room. The salad tasted excellent.

I was already 20 times since, felt 500! It is always totally delicious, sometimes it takes a while, but you will be rewarded as a guest with friendly waitresses and mega delicious Indian food. You have to know North Indian food! In the summer, with a large outdoor terrace!

Even employees from India were enthusiastic. Very authentic and just delicious. And above all, very friendly.

There were three of us at the Gautam Indian Palace. The waitresses showed a lot of patience with us, because we were quite challenged by the large selection of Indian and Asian dishes with different spices. Both the vegetarian dish and the duck and lamb were prepared with care and love and flavored. We could taste that. The culmination of the evening, we were the last guests, was a very interesting conversation with the native of India friendly and open-minded chef, chef of the restaurant, personally. We highly recommend this restaurant, the quality is excellent, the price very cheap.

Very disappointed to even give 1 star. The place doesn't deserve even 1 star to be frank. Being Indian, i was initially excited to explore the food but was disappointed beyond any words. The beer served was expired and already past 10 months of expiry. I am surprised at the sheer negligence of the chef in serving sub standard food. The food served is nowhere authentic Indian cuisine. The quality is sub standard. I would not recommend this to anyone. I only pray that anyone who dares to eat at this place is able to survive after eating cause the i dont think any ingredient or food supplies used are fresh. This calls for serious license inspection by the concerned authority.

Worst experience ever had at lohr am main... The quality food is worst.. Me and my friend's suffered stomach problem and vomiting.. one of my friend has got expired beer and on complaining they took the bottle immediately and trying to hide their mistakes.. worst experience.. Not good for family and kids.. Even I got the same reviews from my old friends.. Local food inspector has to do inspection and take necessary and strict action...

They use all expired food items, no option to give zero star so I am giving 1... Many get stomach upset and vomit after eating food here.. be careful and think twice before going here...

Super delicious Indian food! The boss is also very nice! So if you like spicy or spicy food, this is the place for you. :)

We were eating there today. Found on the internet! A very very nice service brought us the menu. We order drinks and food. We got our drinks quickly and after some time our food. My wife had duck and I lamb. Both food - great and as we know it from good Indians. There was sauce with cashews and they were in there too. Short - very tasty !!!. We can only recommend this restaurant in quality and price. We will be back - promised!

A really delicious Indian food is served here in this restaurant. The prices are absolutely affordable and the drinks are very recommendable. In my photos, which were photographed from the terrace even a UFO sighting is documented.

As an Indian... I can say the food is awesome... It is better than some nicer restaurants in cities.. Chicken Tikka and Dal Makhani a must visit. :-)

Awesome taste of Indian food too good

Lohr has a very nice restaurant and bar scene. As I love Indian food I decided to give this restaurant a try. I went there with my grandmother. On arrival we were seated in a nice corner. Unfortunately the radio was a bit loud which made a conversation difficult. So we asked the staff to lower the volume. Which he did. He even asked if it was fine or if he should turn it off completely. We had pakora, which were mainly good. Some of them were very soft and it was difficult to taste their content. After that we had vegetarian meals. Those were quite good. All in all I would recommend this restaurant.

Nice Indian food as per our choice

I am not sure why this place is rated so high Nobody from stuff is speaking English, I had to wait more than hour for food which was really disappointing I personaly do not recommend this place for eating
